The Geneseo Inn is truly something straight out of a dream! This family owned, EXTREMELY dog-friendly, boutique hotel and sustainable winery is halfway between San Fransisco and L.A., in the rolling hills of Paso Robles. It sits right in the middle of the Cass Winery 145 acres of vineyard.
The rooms are individually themed and built out of industrial shipping crates and they are absolutely perfect inside and out! You are able to truly “breathe in the vineyard views,” from your private outdoor deck, perched above the vines!

Spring is my personal favorite time to visit the valley because everything feels so alive, it is super green and the waterfalls are huge from the snow melt! I know you would love it, too! We had the most incredible time staying @Autocamp Yosemite, just a short drive form the park entrance - though to be honest, I could have spent the entire weekend just hanging out at the AutoCamp property because it is AMAZING!!

Yosemite Lakes RV Resort is only five miles from Yosemite National Park entrance and offers guests tent sites, RV sites and dog friendly lodging options like cabins and yurts! Our yurt was perched just above the South Fork of the Tuolumne River and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waters passing by. Our yurt was outfitted perfectly with a queen futon and a bunk bed with a double bottom and twin top. We had our own private bathroom with shower and our kitchen was complete with a two-burner stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and a refrigerator. The inside was heated by a gas fireplace and there was a BBQ grill on the porch.
Destination Monterey, CA - Our Stay with Petite Retreats at Marina Dunes
Each glamping tent at Marina Dunes is outfitted inside with a queen bed, two bedside tables, two lamps and an electric heater. It was simplicity in the most perfect form.
They all have a little porch with two rocking chairs and a side “yard” with a picnic table, a BBQ, two Adirondack chairs and a firepit.

Destination San Juan Island, WA - Our stay at Lakedale Resort
We were welcomed at Lakedale Resort in a dog-friendly cabin on San Juan Island. It was 80+ acres of bliss and our cabin was waterfront and had two queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and fireplace. Lakedale also has a lodge with luxury lake front rooms, deluxe yurts, canvas clamping tents, cabins and cottages, a vintage Airstream, and camping and rv space for rent! It truly has something for everyone with any budget.
Destination Leavenworth, WA - Our stay at Leavenworth Tiny House Village
The Leavenworth Tiny House Village offers vistors a unique way to experience the Bavarian town of Leavenworth. Each tiny house is appropriately themed to match the German town. These five tiny houses are full of character and personality, and range from 180 – 300 square feet. We had a blast staying in dog-friendly tiny house “Otto,” and we already can’t wait to get back!
Destination Long Beach, WA - Our stay at the Adrift Hotel
At the Adrift Hotel in Long Beach, WA, each room is thoughtfully designed using using recycled materials from the local landscape and modern industrial accents. Even the little details scream “we support local,” from the handmade local soap provided in each room to the locally roasted coffee and wildcrafted teas in the lobby to the local artists photos and work lining the rooms and common spaces. EVERY SINGLE ROOM IS DOG FRIENDLY and there are no restrictions on pet type or weight – if they can fit through the door, they are welcome! It was truly the most dog friendly place I have ever stayed!
