adrift | adverb or adjective | /ə-ˈdrift/

Definition of adrift:

1 : floating freely

2 : free from restraint or support

3 : a beach stay Adrift Hotel

Isn’t that what a vacation should be? Floating free? No restraints?

We spent a weekend in Long Beach, WA, at the Adrift Hotel floating free and enjoying every single second of it. Each room at Adrift is thoughtfully designed using using recycled materials from the local landscape and modern industrial accents. Even the little details scream “we support local,” from the handmade local soap provided in each room to the locally roasted coffee and wildcrafted teas in the lobby to the local artists photos  and work lining the rooms and common spaces. And the best part is? EVERY SINGLE ROOM IS DOG FRIENDLY and there are no restrictions on pet type or weight – if they can fit through the door, they are welcome! It was truly the most dog friendly place I have ever stayed!

Adrift has bikes for guests to use to explore the 21 mile long, Long Beach Peninsula (a boardwalk and paved trail are just steps out the lobby door) a game room with shuffleboard and ping pong, a library, outdoor fire pits and Pickled Fish restaurant and bar (I recommend the local mushroom pizza and a Bloody Mary). Also on the property is Adrift Distillers that features handcrafted artisan spirits!

There is also the coolest pool house with a covered, open-air, heated saline pool, barrel sauna, fire pit and a full-service spa. I could go on all day about this place but I highly suggest going adrift yourself for a while, float free and book a stay to get away from it all! Check out Adrift Hospitality to see all of its hotels, inns, restaurants and a distillery located across coastal Washington and Oregon.
