This is your sign to book a dog-friendly Mendocino Grove glamping trip on the Northern California Coast! I mean - just look at this place!

Mendocino is one of our FAVORITE costal towns and Mendocino Grove is a perfect place to stay to experience all the area has to offer. Only three hours north of San Francisco the campground offers safari-style tents for a one of a kind camping experience with hotel style amenities.

Here are some of the highlights:

+ Tents varying in size from standard to family. They all offer privacy and some have ocean views (vista) and some nestled among the old growth (standard) on the property. We were in tent P11 - a vista tent with a private deck and ocean views.

+ Two pets (dogs or cats) are welcome per reservation. There is a $35 pet fee per pet.

+ Tents come tastefully outfitted with a heated bed, down comforters, lanterns, towels, a fire pit and picnic table and deck chairs. Dog-friendly reservations come with dog beds, bowls and a dog blanket.

+ Two bath houses with both indoor and outdoor showers, hair dryers and organic bath products. A camp sauna and a camp spa that offers guests the option to purchase a massage.

+ A dog wash station with dog shampoo, a cleaning mitt and towels.

+ Common area with 24 hour hot tea and water, with complimentary breakfast and coffee from 7:30 am to 10 am.

+ Gathering spaces with fire pits and hammocks throughout the property.

+ Fenced in dog park for dogs to play and stretch their legs off leash.

+ Camp store that sells apparel, beverages, s’mores kits, firewood and rents camp boxes, ice chests, games and books.

+ Loop trail around the property that winds through redwood forest and has sections with gorgeous ocean views.

+ Water bottle filling stations.

What are you waiting for? The campground closes down for the winter so save this post to plan your next summer or fall trip to the Northern California Coast to stay  and use code LADUCB20 when booking for 20% off a midweek stay from June through November.
