Hart’s Camp - An upscale Airstream Hotel
An upscale, dog-friendly, Airstream Hotel in Pacific City, Oregon. Hart’s Camp is just steps from the beach, each Airstream comes complete with a private fenced area with outdoor furniture, an outdoor shower with hot water (there are indoor showers as well), a fire pit, firewood, a gas BBQ grill and beach cruiser bikes. Inside there was leather upholstery, a cozy dinette, granite-style counters, flat screen TVs, appliances and a queen sized bed with linens.
The idea behind the Airstream Hotel was to create a camp environment without needing to bring your tent and camping gear. It reminded me a lot of van camping only with a lot more luxury! And the best part about it? Your best friends are welcome, too. Around since the 1930’s, Airstream travel trailers have become an American icon and this was my first time staying in one! Hart’s Camp has seven different Airstreams to choose from ranging from vintage classic looks to modern and sleek designs. Ours was spacious, modern and extremely comfortable. It was truly the perfect weekend getaway and it was so nice to have a roof over our head with the moody PNW fall weather!
When we weren’t busy enjoying our space we entertained ourselves feeding the resident rabbits on the property, bombing around the beach with the dogs and enjoying some craft beer at Pelican Brewing which was conveniently located right across the street!
